Medicare-eligible consultations are bulk billed. Some procedures, vaccines, travel consultations and non-Medicare paperwork may attract a fee.
Services that may attract a fee
Current fees are listed below. Please confirm with reception when booking any of these services.
Private consultations
For consultations not covered by Medicare, such as sport, travel and paperwork. Consult time includes the doctor's time writing up your notes.
After hours means weekdays before 8 am or after 8 pm, Saturdays before 8 am or after 1 pm, and all day Sundays and public holidays.
- Short (under 20 min): $85, or $100 after hours
- Long (20–39 min): $140, or $155 after hours
- Prolonged (40–59 min): $190, or $205 after hours
- Extra long (60 min or more): $280, or $295 after hours

- Skin biopsy: $140 (Medicare rebate $53.20, you pay $86.80)
- Implanon insertion: $195 (Medicare rebate $87.55, you pay $107.45)
- Implanon removal: $220 (Medicare rebate $91.75, you pay $128.25)
- Implanon removal and insertion at the same visit: $220
- Iron infusion: $105
- Excision of a cyst or skin lesion: you pay $210 after the Medicare rebate
